Chip Chipak Cancer Benefit
Chip is the Drummer for
The B Street Band

Bob "Chip" Chipak, drummer of the B Street Band was recently diagnosed with cancer. As a musician, unfortunately he has no insurance, no health benefits, etc., but a wife and kids who depend upon him for support.

The Supporters and Members of ‘The B-Street Band” chose the date ‘Wed June 21st’, as the planned benefit for drummer Bob (Chip) Chipak. Chip became seriously ill just recently and could use as much help as possible for the tremendous medical bills accumulated.

The Benefit was held at “The Headliner”, RT 35 Neptune, NJ and featured bands both inside and outside. The B-Street Band began the evening outside at 6 PM and closed inside at 11:30. Some of the other bands who graciously offered their time to perform included “Joe Bonanno”, “Big Band Baby”, “Rude Cats”, ‘Vini Lopez’s Band, and “Steel Mill”, along with special guests.

We ask that you consider a $20 donation to help Bob and his family. Please make your check out to “Bob Chipak Fund” and mail to 1403 Gannett lane, Wall, NJ 07719. We are also hoping that the many friends we have made over the 26 years can help spread the word of Chip's situation and convince others to help if they can. Any questions or comments can be emailed to ddonegan@cruiseone.com or WillyForte@aol.com or visit the web page at www.bstreetband.com.

Thanks for your support and best wishes.

Sincerely,
Dodie Donegan
